London Marathon 26th April 2026

On Sunday 26th April, Gareth Broom is running the London Marathon to raise funds for Citizens Advice East Dorset & Purbeck.
How donations will be used
Gareth’s fundraising efforts will help continue bringing vital Citizens Advice services directly to vulnerable people in their communities across the whole of East Dorset & Purbeck and surrounding areas.
Funds raised will go towards the running costs of the Advice Bus and towards the general service. Many people are unable to access their existing services due to rural isolation, reduced mobility or poor access to public transport. The Advice Bus brings friendly, experienced advisers directly to rural communities.
Providing help to vulnerable people
It provides confidential, face-to-face help with issues such as debt, energy costs, benefits, housing and cost-of-living pressures. Over the past year, 1,061 people visited the bus, and since it launched in 2023 more than 3,000 people have been supported.
Please help if you can
We are very grateful for Gareth choosing to support Citizens Advice East Dorset & Purbeck. Please support Gareth if you can and click on the QR code to make a donation.
As an independent charity, we are reliant upon donations and grants to ensure we can continue to provide essential support to local residents.
Good luck Gareth from everyone at Citizens Advice East Dorset & Purbeck!
