The calculator is designed for people living permanently in the UK. Results are estimates and depend on the accuracy of the information you provide.
To complete your calculation more quickly, it helps to have documents available such as:
- Bank statements
- Council tax letters
- Payslips
- Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) letters
You can use the calculator anonymously. However, if you would like advice, you can submit your results using the “Send to Adviser” button and complete our webform. We will only take action if you make a direct request for support.
