Energy Advisers from Citizens Advice in East Dorset & Purbeck will be on hand to give energy advice and answer questions from local residents when their Energy Bus stops at Wimborne and Ferndown.
The Energy Advice team will help explain the energy cap, what this means for bills, give energy saving tips, explain how to access other support and grants and answer questions.
Ros Dignan, Project Supervisor, Citizens Advice in East Dorset & Purbeck said: “There’s a lot of uncertainty and worry surrounding energy prices at the moment and with the increase in the energy cap in April, people are concerned.”
“We will be able to explain what is happening, advise on ways to reduce energy use whilst offering advice about available support and grants that people may be entitled to. We want to reassure people that help and support is available.”
The Citizens Advice Energy Bus will be visiting:
- Wednesday 9th February – Allendale House car park, Wimborne, 10am-3pm
- Thursday 17th February – The Centre, Barns Road, Ferndown, 10am – 3pm
Advice is free and there is no need to book an appointment.
